“Edinburgh piss ya off?” He chuckled. “S’why m’glad Copenhagen s’a cat. Makes life a lot easier,” he said, smiling as well. He adored his cat, always had. “I’ll see what I can do, then. Meet with ‘em once a year, ya can see ‘em then.”
Mathias paused for a moment, then nodded. “Might be a good idea,” he admitted.
“Aye,” she nodded, even as she slowed her horse to a stop, dismounting easily enough. “Ah wish he were a cat…” She could have used magic to change the city’s form, but she was certain that’d cause more trouble than it was worth. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see the fae moving too quickly to be seen. Curious that they’d be out this early in the day, but whatever.
Patiently she caught the head of Mathias’s horse to hold it still while he dismounted.
